This structure remained intact at its original location, while a wide range of small specialized shops, including a newsagent, grocery store, bakery, butcher, and café nearby has been demolished to make room for a large shopping mall building. Opposite this new mall, the park, library, and town hall continue to occupy the same locations as before.
Concerning the southern section, to the left of Green Street, the spot where it used to be terraced houses has been replaced with apartment blocks. To the right-hand corner, a bank that faced the town has been turned into a café to serve the entertainment requirement of the residents, while another bank in the northeast corner remained unchanged. Another notable change is the establishment of pedestrian crossings on various streets, enhancing the walkability in the town.
