The given maps illustrate changes made to 1990 and the identical town center today.
Overall, many changes occurred including new buildings and movements. Despite lots of buildings and blocks have been altered, the Park, the Town Hall, the Childcare center and the Library remained unchanged. Furthermore, some places and structures were expanded or contracted either removed throughout these periods.
There used to be a line of houses in the town center in 1990; however, the entire houses were replaced by new Apartment blocks. In the opposite of them, the Park, the Town Hall, and the Library stayed in the same position since 1990. Moreover, the Smith Street is today became a walking street. On the Oldfield street and Green street also added two pedestrian crossings for citizens.
There were two banks in the town center in 1990, one in the top right corner and one next to the Town Hall, but, the bank which is to the right the Town Hall made way for the Cafe. At first, the Cafe stayed in a line of shops such as Butcher’s, Grocer’s, Baker’s, etc. Over time, all of them were removed to make the Shopping Mall. On the right of the Shopping Mall is the Childcare center which remained stable during several changes.
