The pictures illustrate how a town center changed from 1990 to today.
Overall, the downtown has undergone a number of dramatic changes, the most important of which are the construction of a shopping mall, the development of an apartment block and a replacement of a bank.
In the north, there used to be a newsagent’s, a grocer’s, a baker’s, a butcher’s and a café, but they were then redeveloped into a shopping mall, which was accompanied by the transformation of the road in front of it into a pedestrian road. The children centre, which used to be to the east of the café, still remained unchange, in addition to the bank on the north-eastern corner of the map.
No changes were made to the park, the library and the town hall in the middle of the map, with the library still located between the other two. A café was erected in the eastern part of the map, replacing a bank, in addition with the establishment of few crossroads connecting to the townhall. There used to be a row of houses in the south, but it was then turned into an apartment block.
