Provided are the maps illustrating a town centre in 1990 and its modernization in the present.
From an overall perspective, it can be seen that many facilities has been removed to make space for the shopping mall. Moreover, the houses are modified into apartments and the streets also change for better convenience now.
Looking at the north side of the maps, all the amentities such as cafe, butcher’s, etc for residents are replaced by a big shopping centre. However, the children centre and the bank still stay in the same location from 1990 to now.
Regarding the buildings in the middle of the town, nothing has changed except for the second bank, which becomes a new cafe for people. Furthermore, the southern houses witness a transformation into apartment blocks after the years. Lastly, there are more crossing roads built for pedestrians on the streets to help people reaching places easier.
