The maps compare the current layout of an industrial park in a town called Cattgate with its planned structure after development of the area.
Overall, the industrial park will become more residential and accessible with the introduction of a new primary school, roads, and a bridge. Moreover, the transformation of all factories into housing units, which is going to make the site more residential, is a significant change.
Currently, a farmland occupies the east of the industrial park, to the left of which is a river. There is a roundabout in the centre with a road to the south and another road to the west. While a long road is located to the west of the roundabout, five factories are situated near the roundabout and roads in the central zone.
Following the renovations, the industrial park is going to undergo noticeable changes. The farmland will be relocated to the southeastern corner of the map, while the bridge and new roads will be constructed to connect the central area with the new residential units, which will appear to the east of the bridge. There will be the sports centre to the southeast of the roundabout, to the south of which the school is going to be built. Notably, while the industrial units will be replaced by residential ones, the roundabout and the river are going to stay intact.
