The map illustrates huge developments that taken place in Kingston’s University Hospital over the period 1990-2020.

Overall, a substantial change occured in the hospital’s area, particularly on the eastern side of the map compared to western side.

In 2020, It can be seen that the north-east of the blueprint, the university hospital expanded into two buildings by destroying the farmland on the eastern side of orignal hospital building. Moreover, old hospital block had dedicated for outpatients and also two new gates to connect it with new hospital structure. On the other hand, the block was dedicated for inpatients, which was located at the eastern side of the outpatients’ building. The path for amulance entranced were also constructed in the 2020 year period.

We can see that in the south of the map huge changes occured in the parking lot. In 2020, after the demolishing of southern part of the farmland the parking lot were developed. The parking space were sized double in 2020 than in the year 1990. In addition, the two entrance were built for the parking area for public usage.
