The diagrams depict the transformation of a town called Harborne in two periods, 1936 and 2007.
Overall, the town has undergone several changes to be more urbanized. With more households and facilities has been constructed.
Looking first at the left space, two trees have been cut down for only one left. The cycle path has been demolished in favour for a road. Turning to the right, back in 1936, there used to be a river, but it has been replaced with a residential area for the locals to live in 2007. A brand new Museum and Golf Course has been constructed at the expense of the Government Offices and the Farm Land.
On the center of the maps, back in 1936, there are only a sweet shop and a butchers, but after 2007, they have been replaced by a huge supermarket, compounded with a new shopping centre below. The Flower Shop has also been replaced by a Travel Agent near the road.
