Overall, it can be seen that Huntingdon will undergo significant transformations, the development of transport infrastructure and the removal of some old structures

One of the most noticeable changes is the conversion of the airfield into a new industrial estate, whereas the build-up area including homes, shops, and other facilities remains unchanged. Another change is the addition of a roundabout in the center, which will connect all the roads in the city together and reduce traffic congestion during rush hour at railway stations.

On the southern side, the A14 highway will be relocated and divided into two new roads, the one will connect with A1 and the last one link to Ring road. While the Ring road will be directly connected to A1 by A14, the Brampton Road will cut across the continuous traffic flow between the Ring road and the A1. At the same time, there will be modernized of the railways, which splits into small lines, whereas the railway station experiences no changes.
