The given two plans provide the changes to a middle of a small village called Islip between present and future development plan.

Overall, the town will have undergone significant changes, with previously undeveloped countryside being replaced by facilities and improved transport infrastructure.

At present, the northern section contains countryside and shops adjacent to the main road occupying in the middle of town. Housing situated in the southern section and taking up a lot of space with a park leading to the southeastern part. In the southwestern part, there is a school located near the road.

In the future, several major changes will be introduced. The countryside was converted into a dual carriageway and in the space of shops was constructed a bus station, shopping centre and car park, and new housing. Park will be reduced and school, shops will remain unchanged. In the southern part, will also constructed new housing.
