Looking at the details, at first, Lakeside had an old and simple view. There were three Residential area in Lakeside in 2000, one of which was in the south below Industrial complex. And also there were art centre, the school, Derelict warehouse and industrial complex alongside the river were old and small. Art centre and old town in west around the school.
However, after 9 years, Lakeside modernised, with more public facilities being introduced. In the west, around the art centre, residential area converted into a shopping centre. In the south, residential area demolished and industrial complex expanded. Moreover, Derelict warehouse renovated to car park, old town modernised to the offices and an University and art centre changed to the cinema. The last thing the lake made smaller and lake became pond in 2009.
