To the northeast, there was a derelict warehouse near a woodland area and a lake. To the southeast, an industrail complex was situated close to the river.
By 2016, many changes had occured. The old town was replaced by offices and a university, indicating a shift towards business and education. The derelict warehouse was removed and replaced with a car park, while the lake was reduced in size and became a pond. Additionally, a multi-screen cinema and a shopping centre were built, enhancing entertainment and retail facilities. The industrial complex expanded significantly, occupying a much larger area in the south.
