The maps illustrate the changes of the town of East Haven between 2008 and 2016. Overall, it is clear that the area experienced significant development; some locations, including a pond, and an industrial complex were converted from the old structures.
Over the period, the neighbourhood north west of the river was taken for some places. For example, the derelict warehouses were converted into car park, while the residential area in the west of the river was became a shopping centre, and the arts centre was located at the west of the school was replaced with a multi-screen cinema.
In 2016, the offices and university at the north of the river were built, while the industrial complex at the southeast of the river was extended to occupy the area. The lake at the northeast of the town in the woodland was converted into a pond. Additionally, the residential area was situated at the northeast of the town, and the school at the middle of the town remained the same.
