The two given pictures illustrate and compare the same library structure in 1975 and in the present. Overall, the library still remains; its main function is to supply books and a shared area to enjoy the word pieces; however, there are additional amenities to enhance the reader’s experience.
In 1975, most of the library was filled with bookshelves for display with diverse categories. On the north side, there was a big stand for books and magazines on the left side, and 2 small shelves to display the latest publication on the right side of the main entrance. The centre of the room was spent on the main bookshelf, which is the biggest, and a rectangle desk to read on the spot. In the south left corner of the room, there was another bookshelf and a shared place to read on the ground, with the children’s’s’s books space in the counter corner and a toiletacross from the main gate.
Nowadays, the library map maintains the 3 main sections, but there were some technological gadgets and furniture to update the reader’s joy compared to the past. On top of the room, the big door is not changed, but a computer was replaced in in in the bullet newss sections, and one new bookshelfs reduced for a wheeling access. The visitor can currently have coffee while reading a book at the coffee table, discussing together whether in the shared area with the comfortable sofa chair or big desk in the middle of the room. On the bottom side of the room, except for the public space that was moved, other sections such as bookshelves, a bookstand for kids, and the toilets were still kept from the last design.
