The maps illustrate the changes to a library from 1975 to now.
Overall, the central area and the northwest corner of the library have been completely restructured, with several facilities being replaced by new ones such as the coffee section, wheeling access, and new books. In contrast, the lower portion of the map is untouched.
In 1975, upon entering through the main entrance in the northern center, visitors would see two book sections positioned to the left, and a books and magazines section to the right. However, in the present, these sections have been changed. While on the left-hand side, one book section, which is adjacent to the entrance, has been replaced by a wheeling access area, the other side has been converted to a computer area. In contrast, areas located in the bottom of the map are unchanged, with bookshelves, a toilet and children’s book areas, but shared sections adjacent to the bookshelves have been eliminated.
Looking at the center area of the map, the bookshelves to the east have been replaced by a coffee section. In addition, some shared areas with cycle and square tables fill the empty space in the center of the library, near the library desk in the western area.
