The provided maps illustrate the changes in a town following the construction of a hydroelectric power dam between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, the town experienced significant changes over the period, including new buildings and a large lake that created dam indicating that the area became more populated.
In 1990, a long river ran through the map, started from a rare plants and animals and ending in the mountains. Additionally, on the opposite side of the rare plant area located villages for farmers. Near the villages located a large irrigated area where farmers usaully worked. On the other hand, on the westers side of the map was located ancient structure.
After dwo decades the map changed significantly. For instance, instead of irrigated farmlands, there was built a hotel. Moreover, rare plants was replaced by electricity pylons which provided energy for hydroelectric dam. As far as the electric dam is concerned, the old structure and forest was flooded after the dam was built.
