The maps give information about a particular town as it was in 1990 and how it 20 years later due to the appearance of a hydroelectric power dam.
Overall, the town underwent a number of changes, the most notable of which the addition of energy facilities at the expense of wildlife and lands for farming.
Initially, there used to be a forest, an ancient structure, and habitats for rare plants and animals the west side of the river. However, these features in the following 20 years to make room for transmission towers that the energy-generating process, while the mountain ranges in the background remained unchanged.
2010 the east side of the river also been dramatically transformed, with the construction of a hydroelectric power dam, a new lake and multiple transmission towers. The open space which was once irrigated farmlands removed to allow for a new hotel. Despite these changes, villages that accommodate the town’s residents were still maintained through the years.
