The two maps below illustrate how a town has changed after the effect of a hydroelectric power dam between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, the area is divided into two distinct parts by a river running from south to north through the centre of the town, with most developments taking place on either side of this natural boundary. It is noticeable that this town underwent industrialization, including the replacement of natural landscapes with infrastructure.
Regarding the changes to the Western side of the map, the area in 1990 mainly consisted of natural features, including forests, mountains, and habitats for rare plants and animals. An ancient structure was also located between the forest and the wildlife habitat. After 30 years, these areas were all removed to make way for some transmission towers, while the mountains remained unchanged. In addition, a small part in the middle of the river was expanded into a lake, with a hydroelectric power dam constructed at one side of it.
Turning to the Eastern of the town, in 1990, there were mountains, a huge range of irrigated farmlands and several villages. In the final year of the second map, while villages and mountains remained unchanged, the irrigated farmlands had been replaced by a new hotel and some transmission towers, with these towers located right next to the new hydroelectric power dam.
