Overall, the town underwent a dramatic transformation from a small rural area with farmland and forest to an industrial zone, with new facilities such as a hydroelectric dam and a hotel. Most of the natural and agricultural land was replaced by these industrial developments.
In 1990, the river ran through the town from North to South, where mountains were located. Villages and irrigated farmlands were located along the right side of the river. On the opposite side, the area was largely feral, with forest, rare plants and animals. In addition, there was an ancient structure situated in the south of the forest.
By 2010, villages and mountains remained unchanged. The forest, the ancient structure and the habitat of rare plants and animals were demolished to make way for the construction of hydroelectric dam with a lake and transmission towers. To the east of the town, a hotel was built to replace the irrigated farmlands.
