The maps illustrate the changes in a particular area after constructing a hydroeleltric power dam from 1980 to 2000.
Overall, there were a significant changes took place in this area through 20 years. It is noticeable that many natural site disappeared instead of the erection of some electrical facilities.
In 1990, the river located in the middle of the map was small in order to serve for residential’s lives. But 20 years later, most of the facilities were changed and replaced by others as the expansion of the river. This area first had some forests, which scattered around the river. In the northern part of this region, an ancient building used to set up here and nearby that were some forest, which contained a number of rare plants and animals. On the left site of the river, there were some inhabitant’s housing and their farmland. There were also some mountains around this area.
In 2000, the river were expanded to serve for the dam facilities. At the upstream, it was transformed into a lake for fishing and also tourism. Therefore, a new hotel was constructed nearby this lake for tourist’s accomodation. At the downstream, there was a hydroelectric dam, which served for electicity’s needs of the villagers through some generating poles.
