The maps illustrate the differences in Charlwood town between 1910 and 2010.
Overall, it can be clearly noticed that in 2010 there appeared more resident houses. Additionally, there were constructed the car parking and new shop.
To begin, the town experienced the changes, which are related to accomodations and forest. In 1910, there were only three houses between the main road and bridge; however, they were doubled in 2010. Also instead of the forest at the north-eastern side, people changed it into the park at the second map.
It can be seen that the car parking have been built on the empty place near the park. Moreover, in 1910 there was a factory, which was replaced with the shop next to parking. On the other side of the bridge the train station and the school stood next to each other before the station was expanded and the school was demolished.
