The given pictures illustrate the way in which the layout of a art gallery has changed since 2015 for renovation purposes.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some old features have been still there, whereas others such as gallery office, cafe and shop and exhibition room have disappeared. Additionally, the place has undergone number of dramatic changes in terms of facilities with the introduction of new features of the children’s area, vending machine, gallery shop, and temporary exhibition.
Currently, the entrance and steps have been kept intact, and so the receptionist on the middle of the entrance and adjoining area for stairs to upper floor. However, cafe and shop, gallery office and exhibition room were located at the left-hand corner of the entrance. This has now been replaced by vending machine, gallery shop, temporary exhibition and children’s area. Beside, to the right of the new walked area, there is lift which was once a zone dedicated to pedestrian in 2015.
At the present day, changes have been made to other features, the most noticeable of which is regarding the exhibition areas, the space of exhibition room 4 has been divided into two areas; one for temporary exhibition and the other for children. However, no change for exhibition rooms 1 to 3 compared to the layout of the gallery in 2005.
