The map compares the layout of the ground floor of an art gallery in 2015 and its current plan.
Overall, the art gallery has undergone a significant modernization with the addition of new facilities and the relocation of some facilities. While the main structure of the ground floor has generally remained, the original exhibition room 4 has been completely removed to meet modern needs.
In 2015, upon entering, visitors would encounter the entrance hall leading directly to a central reception desk ahead. The gallery featured four exhibition rooms distributed across the floor plan. Notably, three of the exhibition rooms occupied the entire right-hand side of the building, with room 1 in the bottom-right corner and room 3 in the top-right corner, while room 2 lay between them. By contrast, room 4 was positioned on the opposite side of the gallery. The gallery cafe and shop were located in the top-left corner, with a gallery office situated between these facilities and exhibition room 4. The stairs were placed in the middle of the cafe shop and room 3, providing access to other levels of the building.
After redevelopment, the three exhibition rooms have remained unchanged, while room 4 has been demolished to make way for the children’s area and the temporary exhibition. The receptionist table, meanwhile, has also been moved closer to the entrance hall. The stairs have been moved slightly leftward, with the space on their right being made available for a lift. The cafe and shop, and the gallery office have been completely dismantled, with a vending machine and the gallery shop taking their place.
