The two floor plans illustrate how the ground floor layout of art gallery changed between 2005 and present day.

Overall, while basic structures remains unchanged, rooms on the west and reception desk were changed with an addition of lift in the side of stair. Children’s area and temporary exhibitions area were added in the current plan.

In both the plans, entrance remains at the central area of south with steps. In 2005, stairs led to entrance hall followed by rectangular reception desk. In contrast, present layout features circular table is placed before heading to entrance hall. Similarly, stair to upper floor is on the middle of the northern part. Though positions of cafe and shop on left of stair and three exhibition room on right remains untouched, on present map there is addition of a lift on right of stair attached to exhibition room.

Previously a gallery office was located at bottom of cafe which is now restructured with temporary exhibitions room. Also, the fourth exhibition hall was replaced by children’s area reducing the area.
