The two maps demonstrate the changes in a community center within a 10 year timeframe.
Overall, the community center has become more customer-friendly and convenient with the introduction of new cafe area, indoor sports and storage areas. While the main changes took place in the north and the east side of the map, the centre and the south-west side of the map saved most of its original facilities.
10 years ago, there was an entrance to the south, with reception and cloakroom in front of the coffee bar and toilets. The hall occupied the center of the map, while the bigger storage was located in the north. To the west, garden and car park took place. There were four offices in the north-east corner, below which was the smaller storage and kitchen.
Since then, the community center has undergone a lot of changes. Whereas the car park remained intact, the garden has gone and in its place now is new indoor sports. In the south, new office has introduced which is previously occupied by the coffee bar and toilets. The entrance, reception and cloakrooms remained unchanged. The hall and storage in the center haven’t changed, but to the north, new toilets have constructed. Where the offices and storage stood, there is now new cafe area. Finally, the kitchen stayed with no alterations in the southwest side of the map.
