The maps illustrate the change of Grange park from 1920 to now. Overall, it is noticeable that many places in a public park was changed.
Having a closer look, nowadays, there are two entrances in Arnold avenue and Eldon street which have remained unchanged. They build a new entrance underground car park in the corner of Northeast. In the center of the Grange park, a fountain was turned into a rose garden with surrounding 4 seats. On the eastern side, the rose garden and a pond for water plants were destroyed to create spaces for a cafe and a children’s play area, respectively. There was a glasshouse on the opposite site which was changed to a water feature.
On the other side, a stage for musicians in 1920 was upgraded into an amphitheatre for concerts. Besides, the rose garden next to the Arnold avenue was unchanged. Additionally, 5 seats surrounding the Grange park have been removed.
