The three maps depict the transformation that has transpired at Valley City since its establishment in 1990.
Overall, there are several changes that took place since the establishment of Valley City over a period of two decades interms of building infrastructure
In 1990, Daisy Road divided the Valley City into two parts. To the western side of Daisy Road was a shopping centre and farmland. To the ewas eastern side was the city hall, a KG school and a big round park. To the north of Daisy Road was located Sheffield Road.
Going into 2000, the farmland was reduced in size to give space to the dairy farm just beside it. The city hall was renovated, and a car park was constructed just below southeast of Daisy Road. The round park was also reduced in size.
Coming to the year 2010, there were massive changes. The shopping center was demolished together with the dairy farm, and the farmland was cleared to give way to the construction of a playground. KG school and a small toy shop besides the school. To the western side of Daisy Road, the city hall was demolished, and the public library was built. KG school was restructured and converted to a Forton University. The round park was destroyed(erected), giving way to the construction of varsity cafe southeast of Daisy Road and just beside it to the western side of the varsity cafe another car park was constructed.
