The map illustrates the changes that happened at the waterfront area of a town called Darwin a period of 5 years.

In 2009, the town had industrial areas but during the years town had a number of dramatic changes. The most changes were that in 2014, a large number of trees were planted. Another differences were that in 2009, there was sea while in 2014, harbour was added in the middle of sea and the footpath running by trees.In 2014, university building was added nearby trees.

In 2009,neighbouring foodpath residential building was halved while in 2014, residential building was doubled.In both years the town had two swimming pools and roads.In 2009, industrial area,lake and trees surrounded by footpath whereas in 2014, industrial area was removed, swimming pool was enlarged. School and convention center were between road and foodpath.In the two years fishing area was adjacent to road.

Overall, it is clear that Darwin town,during the two years were changed from a largely rural to a mainly urban landscape.
