The illustrations display the changes that took place in the Biology School between 2015 and 2020. Overall, this school has witnessed several transformations, with new facilities added, buildings relocated, and improved infrastructure.
According to the first map, the Central library was prominently situated at the heart of the campus, surrounded by various facilities. To the North of the library was the woodland, while the indoor sports hall was located to the northeast side of the library. Adjacent to the library on the east side were the drama centre, the cafe, the lecture room and the IT centre, whereas on the opposite side was the road. The teaching building lay in the southwest of the library, near a cluster of trees.
The second map indicates that by 2020, the central library retained its central position, but the surrounding facilities underwent substantial modifications. Notably, the trees on the northern side were chopped down to make place for new lab and office, and those on the southwest side were cleared to construct the car park for staff. Additionally, the teaching building, the IT centre, and the lecture room became larger in size, while the drama centre converted into the music centre. Finally, the indoor sports hall and the cafe retained their location.
