The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in Riverside Park between 2010 and the present day.
Overall, the park has undergone significant development, with the addition of new recreational and commercial facilities. While some original features such as the river, heritage railway, and vegetation have remained unchanged, the area has become more modern and visitor-friendly.
In 2010, Riverside Park was relatively simple. A railway line ran along the eastern side, with a station located in the southeast corner. Inside the park, there was a road forming a loop, along with a walking path. Facilities were limited, consisting mainly of three parking areas and three toilets. Large area of vegetation was located in the southwest, and there were no entertainment or commercial amenities.
At present, the park has been considerably modernized. A cycle path has been added along the riverbank, enhancing accessibility. New attractions such as swings have been installed in the northern section, making the park more entertaining. A café has also been introduced near the center-right. Additionally, a hotel has been constructed close to the railway.
