The maps demonstrate how Riverside Park has developed from 2010 to the present.
Overall, it is evident from the maps that there have been significant changes to the infrastructure of the park. However, some things remained the same.
In 2010, Riverside Park was located near the river to the north and Heritage Railway station to the east. Heritage Railway comprised two stations, with the walking path starting from the north one. Alongside the river was the cycle path, while the vegetation was located a little further in, to the south-west of the park. Furthermore, the walking path surrounded the territory where three toilets and the road leading to three parking lots were situated.
In the present, the location of the park stayed the same, although there have been some drastic changes done to the facilities of the park. For instance, the ringroad has increased in size. Moreover, a hotel has been built near the ringroad, as well as more parking space. In addition, a new cafe has been developed, along with three swings.
