The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in the town of Redbridge between 1995 and the present day.
Overall, Redbridge has undergone significant development, particularly in terms of residential and commercial facilities. The most notable change is that the large area of farmland in the southern part of the town has been replaced by several modern facilities, including a shopping centre, a car park and a park. Meanwhile, the river and the main north-south road have remained largely unchanged.
In 1995, the northern part of Redbridge consisted of three residential buildings and a school, all situated to the west of the main road. A river ran horizontally through the middle of the town, with a bridge providing access across it. The southern section was predominantly occupied by a large area of farmland.
At present, the residential area has expanded, with the number of housing units increasing from three to five. The school, however, remains in its original location. In addition, a footbridge has been introduced to the west of the existing bridge, providing an additional crossing over the river.
The most substantial transformation has occurred in the southern area. The former farmland has been replaced by a shopping centre on the western side of the main road, while a car park and a new park have been constructed to the east. Furthermore, a new east-west road has been built, improving access to these newly developed facilities.
