The 2 maps illustrate some obvious and mild changes of a land in two different time periods between 1986 and now. Overall, a village near Stoke river has been transformed into residential area.
In terms of radical changes, to the West of the land is the Stoke river, across which a bridge is constructed in the North-top. There is a main road which is through the bridge and parallel with the river for dwellers to travel. In the heart of the land, several shops have been destroyed for more accommodations to be built to the new left branch of the main road. Two farmlands, moreover, which in the South-west and North-east corner of the village have experienced a conversion into residential areas with more branches.
Regarding pale changes, opposite the old shops is a primary school which has been widen doubly. To the South of a school, there are gardens which has been narrow down by a half to be under construction a wealth of houses. In addition, in these gardens, a retirement home is built and expanded in two wings in the place where used to be a large house. Finally, a post office which used to be to the South of shops remains unchanged through a long time.
