The two maps illusturate major changes have which taken places in town of Denham from 1986 to the present day. Overall, it is obvious that the rural area has been trasformed into urban area. It has been significant hausing development and the farmland has been removed.
Since 1986, the number of housing in Denham has risen considerably. The farmland on the both sides of road has been demolished to make way for new houses. Moreover, two shops between River Stoke have been pulled down and the gardens of the large house have been reduced in size to provide more space for houses. Large house has been turned into a retirement house with extensions added.
However, other features remain the same or have been extended. The bridge to the north of town remains the same. Another surviving facility post office, which is situated by the main road. The primary school in the the center of town has been enlarged with the two addition of the two new buldings.
