The two plans illustrate several changes which have taken place in Denham from 1986 to the present day.
Overall, the town has experienced significant development in housing, which now offers more accommodations for a growing population that has shifted away from agriculture and farming.
In 1986, to the east of the river stoke has farmland where now this place had been demolished and new accommodations and houses have been constructed now. The houses have been erected beside to the post office instead of shops, but post office is still there. To the south-east of the river stoke farmland removed and new houses had been modernized.
Another noticeable change is that more roads have been built around the houses. In 1986, the gardens that were in front of large houses have been removed and these two places has been renovated retirement home. The primary school and to north of the bridge still stands, but the primary school has been extended now.
