The given pictures illustrate information about how a beachfront area looked like in 1950 and its current outlook after reconstruction.
Overall, it is clear that the area has witnessed significant development almost in its every corner, with the addition new facilities. Also, some parts of the building have left untouched.
In the 1950, the beachfront was a featureless area. At the top of the map, there was road which helped to reach a parking zone in the northeast side. Below this road, several constructions: playground, dining table and pavilion were orderly built. Moreover, there was beach that was surrounded by two identical pools(25m), the Light House was positioned near those pools in the right corner.
By now, the area has experienced a complete makeover. For example, the road has largely extended, encompassing the whole beach site. Following this, parking block has replaced by playground and dining tables; however, pavilion has not changed its place. Having been demolished, the second parking area has been erected near the pavilion in the north side. The surf club in the middle of the road which leads to the Light House has added. In addition, the pools have not been changed with except for 50m pool. Ultimately, a surf club has flanked by this pool in western side.
