The most noticeable is that new commercial buildings were built along the river, with the transformation of old market into a new shop. Moreover, a hall of residence was constructed in the west of the university along with a tramline from the city centre to the university.
Furthermore, most of the infrastructure from the year 2000 was reconstructed or transformed. For instance, the old market was constructed as a new covered market to the east of the city centre with a new shop. Also, the train station was knocked down and built in the east of its preceding location, between university and city centre.
