The map above clearly shows the difference of the museum and its surrounding area between the years of 1990 and 2010.

During 1990 the guests would enter through the main road to find a wide garden that stretches from the right side of the road to the carpark. Then they would leave the cottage to their left hand and take a walk across the path right next to the road and into the entrance of the museum. Moreover, they would be greeted by a shop to their left and multiple rooms off to each sides of the museum which ends before the store room located in the far corner.

In 2010 many changes were implemented. After entering from the main road people would find that the new carpark replaced the old garden on the right to fit more cars. Moreover, the cottage on the left became a cafe where visitors could enjoy an energizing cup of coffee before taking the path to the museum. As soon as people enter they will feel as if the place doubled in size and thats all thanks to removing the walls on the left side of the interior which turned the shop to an open concept.

To conclude, most of the features remained the same like the main large garden, store room, and main road, but things like the cottage and the garden on the left were changed to fit the needs of the visitors overtime.
