The maps illustrate the changes into the construction of Huntingdon over the period.The layout is presented in terms of both present and future changes.
Overall,the future map demonstrates several changes for the advancement of nation,including those enhancing railway’s road and adding roundabout in the middle of the map.Notably, airfield will be replaced with the industrial estate.
Nowadays, the town is quite developed with the facilities, such as railway, airfield and industrial places. On the right corner of the map, road – namely A14 – starts the plan. Then going through the middle map, and finally ends by crossing the circle-road in A1. The A1 road has single main path from which you can get to the town centre and airfield. To get to the centre you should go out of airfield, find the main path , turn left-handed path and cross the circle-road, continuing going by the first turn to the left.
In the future, from the Ring road, which is connected the way to the town centre, will be path connected with A14 and A1. Similarly, in the Brampton road will be launched roundabout joining the A1 with the previous circle-road. Significantly, the airfield will be demolished with the estate of industry. Whereas, railway station will be expanded in the territory, linking to the industrial estate from two sides.
