The diagram illustrates the changes made to an industrial village called Stamdorf between 1985 and 2015.
Overall, the village became more industrial and residential with the introduction of new industrial zone, industrial staff quarter and houses. While the infrastructure of the road changed and widened, new trees and plants were planted to make the city air more fresh and quality. It is also visible that the bridge was rebuilt of steel in 2015.
Turning onto the details, the northern side of the village had the most transformation on the whole. While a space to the far north side of the area was filled with a new industrial zone, small road inns to the west of the bridge were relocated to the eastern side to make way for an access to the industrial zone from the main road and headquarters for staff. To the sides of the road were planted several trees while the factory close to the bridge was knocked down.
Moreover, the field experienced almost no change, remaining intact on its original place though moving a little to the south. New housing plants appeared in the western side of the village next to the field and in the south near the road. What is more, the bridge was reconstructed out of steel which made the flow of boats on the Thames river smother and more frequent.
