The three illustrations display a public building through different stages of expansion and change from the 1980s to the present day.
Overall, the land area is located at the intersection of A and B roads, with the building being placed right next to the intersection throughout the period. The area was initially mostly covered by a garden, but the building witnessed significant expansion and development up to the present, when the whole area is fully utilized. The building also underwent changes in its function, from a history reading room to a meeting room and eventually a theatre.
In the 1980s, the main purpose of the public building was as a history reading room. The main entrance was placed towards A Road, with a smaller back door towards B Road. The entirety of the building was used for history reading, with only a small kitchen sitting to the right of the main entrance. The building during this time took up less than half of the total land area, with the rest being used as a garden. This remained true until the next time period during the 90s, when the building more than doubled in size as well as being repurposed into a meeting room. The main entrance had been relocated to face B Road, leading into a big square hall which was roughly the size of the former building. The kitchen remained situated in its original location but had also been doubled in size, though it was no longer directly connected to the main area and now had a vestibule in between. Towards the back, there was now a meeting room the width of the building, directly connected to the hall with no doors.
Currently, the public building, now a theatre, has been further enlarged to cover the entire area. To the right of the building, a garage has been erected, running along the length of the building. At the back now sit the newly built control room and dressing room behind the main stage. The former building area during the second period witnessed several transformations and slight shifts in size. The old meeting room has been expanded further towards the entrance and was repurposed into the seating area. Consequently, the hall and the former kitchen area, now the office, shrank. The office has also been relocated to the right side of the building, while the garden has been completely removed.
