The given maps ilustrate the improvement and urbanasiation of the residential area around Bayley Street and Trent street between 1900 and 1935.
Overall, the most noticable and striking aspect is the construction of many roads for vehicles and the building of several residential areas and parks.
The western area used to have just a church and a farm, however, by the end of 1935, it managed to be rearanged by the construction of a cozy neighborhood around the local church, where people can enjoy their free time. In the south-western part of the island, a factory appeared, helping with local production, economy and employment.
In the southern part, changes were more drastical, for example, the introduction of an urbanised neighborhood with apartments in buildings and skyscrapers. A stadium was arranged right next to the mountains. Due to the massive growth of population, a hospital had to be built in order to assure local safety and medical care. The windmill, bridge and local park did not go under any changes.
