The diagram illustrates how the layout of the Dale Hall Conference center will change in 2025 compared to that in 2010.
Overall, it is clear that more infrastructure will be built in 2025, including areas for daily life needs and also places for entertainment and work.
Back then in 2010, most of the areas in the center were gardens, located both in the eastern and south-western areas. Moreover, the Eskdale Room, Ravensdale Room, and the Swallowdale Hall were at the east-northern corner of the conference center. As for the reception, it was right in the middle of the three buildings. Plus, there were car parking areas adjacent to the Swallowdale Hall and gardens.
As depicted in the second map, more buildings will be built here and the areas have been greatly utilized in 2025. In the north-eastern area, a residential block with 20 rooms will be built there. The car park, which was originally there, is going to be removed to the south-eastern area, which will be larger than before. In addition, the area of gardens will be remarkably reduced, since more functional buildings will be constructed there. One IT Centre and 2 meeting rooms for working purpose and games room along with music room for entertainment will be built at the bottom of the map. What’s more, canteen and kitchen will also be constructed so as to cater to the needs for people’s daily needs.
