Overall, the campus has undergone significant modernization, with new academic buildings constructed, older facilities replaced, and the layout becoming more organized and spacious.
In 2006, a single teaching block located in the northeast accommodated both arts and science subjects. In the present day, this has been replaced by two separate buildings, with the science building occupying the former location and the arts building situated on the eastern side of the campus. The university offices, previously positioned in the north, have been removed to make way for the science facility. In the southern part of the campus, the restaurant and shops have been redeveloped into student accommodation.
Meanwhile, the original student accommodation in the southwest has been converted into a student facilities building, which now includes shops and offices. The accommodation in the northwest has also been expanded with the addition of a new building. Although the lake and seating area remain unchanged, the surrounding layout is now more open, contributing to a more functional campus design.
