Overall, the strict experienced growth in population, over the following years. New roads and buildings were built, the green spaces were expanded in some areas, while they were replaced with other facilities in the other areas.
In 1985, 12000 individuals were living in Salata district. However, this figure reached 18000 today, representing a marked growth by 50%. Not only the population increased throughout the period but also the number of residential areas did. In the western region, a residential area is constructed in the northern side of the river, and another one is biult in the southern side of the river. There are also parks being grown around the church. Additionally, the supermarket has expanded.
