The two maps illustrate the layout of a forest site before and after developing the area.
Overall, the site underwent numerous changes by setting up different urban infrastructures to welcome people at this campsite, while preserving green areas.
Before developing this site, it was dominated by a large green area, where a small lake was located in the middle of the forest. Furthermore, there were only a few tents, which were eco-friendly and were set up to welcome visitors. On the other hand, there weren’t any roads in this forest, making commuting in the area challenging.
After developing the site, several shifts were noticed. Firstly, many permanent cabins were built, favoring camping in the forest, as well as increasing housing capacity of the area. Secondly, two principal roads were built, one vertical and a horizontal one. Additionally, green areas were demolished in the north and were replaced by a large picnic zone, fostering families to come and visit the campsite.
These maps highlight a clear redevelopment of land use, from being a natural and green site to becoming a potential familial must-visit campsite.
