The maps compare how the Liverton changed between 1980 and these days.Overall,Liverton has undergone substantial changes with an introduction of new buildings such as sailing club and apartments,as well as the replacement of old constructions with the new ones.
In 1980,river was located in the middle of the map and ships were allowed to move there.Above the river,there were two warehouses:first one was situated on the northwest side of the map,second one on the northeast part of the map.Also,cranes were placed on the right side of warehouses.Another warehouse was located on the south of Liverton with a crane on the left side.
Currently,the area has changed significantly.There is a new ship museum in the river.Moreover,bridge and barrier that prevents flooding are built there.Above the river,warehouse was replaced with educational centre with the sailing club on the right.Also,children’s playground is placed on the northeast side of the Liverton.On the southwest corner,crane was replaced with a hotel and new apartments with a parking space on the right are built on the south of the map.
