The two pictures demonstrate development of a British village of Wells-on-the-water over a 25-year period.
Generally speaking, the village had undergone significant transformations, with the most prominent being the construction of additional roads and the replacement with various kinds of services to accommodate economic development.
In the top of the village, in 2010 a new street called Queens Drive appeared and slopes to the northeast on what was formerly farmland 25 years ago and some facilities such as shops and post office were erected on both sides of the road. Moving to the middle, the old factory had been repurposed into luxury flats, and the mansion house also had been replaced by a care home. However, the mansion garden remained unchanged during the period.
In terms of the bottom part, in 1985 the farm was there, after that was converted to a bigger park and near the park was a post office, which still existed after 25 years. Further expansion was recorded along the Mansion Lane and Farmland was replaced by the emergence of houses in the vicinity of the Post Office
