The given pictures depict the changes to Paradise Island which has been developed for tourism.
It is noticeable that the island has changed considerably with the introduction of tourism and the main developments are that the island has significant changes in the northeast of a map, which has more available outdoor spaces and the replacement of a scientific research station in the southwest.
Looking at the maps in more detail, in the past, there were a scientific research department and trees which located in the southwest of the map. There were no longer available in the present, instead, they have been replaced for a large hotel complex and swimming pool. The pier has been broadened and the boat experienced a remarkable change, from a simple boat to a cruise ship. On the other hand, the beach which situated in the northwest of the map used to be a beach without permission to access, however, it has been reduced in size and available to come.
In the southeast of the map, a great number of trees were chopped down to the appearance of an open restaurant. Natural spring was disappeared to serve for the construction of a new cafe. In addition, a new foot-path has been built to connect the hotel and the restaurant. Furthermore, a host of line which surrounded the island have been appeared and provide a lookout screen.
