The images illustrate the layout of the coutryside of the town called Fosbury from 1980 to 2015.
From an overall perspective, outskirts of the town underwent significant changes. Initially, the area was undeveloped and had few facilities mostly accomodation , but after 35-year period there are new amenities in the Fosbury town’s outskirts. Some facilities were not subject to change, while some of them relocated or demolished.
In detail, there were houses in the northern-western corner of the city which was in the northern side of a park, empty land and several roads. Tennis courts were located in the left corner which was in the western side of fields, but they were divided by road. In the right top corner were terraced houses just next to the hotel, grocer’s store and block of flats.
After 35 years, countryside of the town Fosbury witnessed a complete makeover. Houses were not subject to change, but park was demolished at the expense of new houses, while in empty area there was created new park. Tennis courts were reconstructed to built sports center and car park. Fields were subject to change to build warehouses, while flats in the top right corner were knocked down to build enormous car park in the corner and just below it supermarket. The Hotel remained unchanged, but grocer’s store and block of flats were erased to connect all the roads to build roundabout.
