The two maps illustrate how the town of Fosbury developed over a period of 35 years
Overall, Fosbury underwent significant changes, particularly in residential, commercial, and recreational areas. While some facilities were removed, others were added or upgraded, contributing to the modernization of the town.
In the east of the town, the terraced houses, green shop, and block of flats present in 1980 were replaced by a car park and a supermarket by 2015. The grassland on the right side of the map was transformed into an industrial area, including several warehouses built along the main road.
Another major development was the construction of a roundabout, which has likely improved traffic circulation in the area. In addition, the tennis courts were removed and replaced with a larger, more comprehensive sports center. Although the park was retained, it was reduced in size to make space for new terraced houses. Meanwhile, the houses and the hotel located in the northern part of the town remained unchanged throughout the 35-year period.
